Pickwick Lake and Granna's House
Micah and I spent Saturday at Pickwick Lake to celebrate the 4th and Mynatt's 31st birthday. We were joined by Brett and soon-to-be Mandy Kennedy, Drew and Julie Hart, Rob and Betsy Humphreys, and of course the birthday boy Rob! The day was perfect. Lots of fun in the sun. We took a long boat ride on the Mynatt's sweet new pontoon boat and finished the evening off with a delicious dinner extravaganza. Side note - this was the first time for us to leave Huddy overnight. He stayed with Granna and Papaw and surprisingly, I did fairly well being away from my sweet baby boy. We only called to check on him two times:) Granna on the other hand found herself with lots of interuptions during the night. So I felt bad for her. I guess Hudson knew he wasn't at home and being in a different environment and all threw him off I'm assuming. Better luck next time?

Joe, Brett, and Micah When we came back home on Sunday we went swimming with Dianna and the kids, grilled out, ate homemade ice cream, and watched the Germantown fireworks. It was a perfect ending to the weekend. We really enjoyed their visit from Dallas. They got to stay in Memphis for two whole weeks! We did lots of fun stuff during that time...the Collierville sprinkler park and drive-in movie were at the top of my list. So glad we got to spend some much needed quality time with them and Hudson FINALLYgot to meet his cousins. Can't wait til we see them all again.
