Father's Day 2010

Father's Day Weekend
Crossville, TN

Micah, Hudson, and I went to Crossville to celebrate my Dad's birthday and Father's Day. It was Hudson's second out of town getaway and overall he did really great! We just relaxed by the lake, grilled out, and took it easy. Hudson went on a boat ride and he really liked it we think. There was a nice breeze out on the lake and it's always like 15 degrees cooler there so it was nice because it wasn't too hot.

This year I am especially thankful for all the special boys in my life:) Thank you to my sweet daddy for always being so kind and generous to me, because not always do I deserve it. Thank you to my loving husband who is a new daddy this year! Yay! We love you and are thankful for the Godly man you are and the leadership you demonstrate in our home. Thank you to my sweet baby boy, Hudson, who is an incredibly good baby and brings me so much joy each and every day. And thank you to our Father in heaven who continuously extends grace and mercy to me and offers unconditional love to us all. Happy Father's Day!

It's Bunco Time in Tennessee!

June Bunco
Hosted at the Millers

Our first official bunco started this month. The theme was "Margaritaville" and we had it at our house. Lots of fun was had by all I'd have to say:) I feel like an old woman playing bunco, I guess because I associate it with bridge...which is what my grandmother used to play with her friends. Haha! Oh well, it's always lots of fun and there is really no skill involved. Just rolling some dice to get to 21. How hard is that? And best of all there are prizes to be won! Hayley and I came away as the only winners of the night. She won for most games and most Buncos. I won for least games and most "traps" aka trips. Here are a few pics from the night's festivities. Can't wait for next month:)

Maternity and Newborn Pics

Give it up for the talented Mrs. Ashleigh Peak! In a word, she is simply...AMAZING! She did my maternity photos back in April when I was around 35 weeks pregnant. And she came to do Hudson's newborn pics when he was just 12 days old. I will cherish these sweet pictures forever. I'm so glad we decided to have them done. Here are a few of my favs but for anyone interested in seeing all of them go to and click on client access at the bottom. Password is emiller. Enjoy!
