Well, I thought it was about time I start a blog for our friends and family. So...this is our first post!
For those of you who don't know, Micah and I are expecting our first child in May. Our little buddy, Hudson Andrew, will be here before you know it! We are so excited and thankful for this blessing and addition to our family. Here is a current pic of my growing belly - taken at 29 weeks.
We did have our "Pregnancy to Parenthood" class today where we learned about fun things like breathing techniques, postpartum signs, diaper changing, and breastfeeding 101 (Micah's favorite). One of the highlights for me was getting to take a tour of the new Women and Children's Pavilion at Germantown Methodist, where I'll be delivering. The new addition to the hospital just opened a few weeks ago. Everything was so new and nice! Not to mention we got to see our sweet friend, Whitney, a labor and delivery nurse who just happened to be working while we toured.
We ended the day at Memphis Pizza Cafe to celebrate my birthday, which is coming up on Monday. The big 2-8! I can't believe March is already here...bring on the warm and sunny weather please!

Your banner photo makes me want to smooch my Chris while surrounded in lush greenery and a pond....while hand in hand. Ahhh! I feel the love! And you are so sweet to have me and Chris as the focal point in your blog background. That's one of my favorite graphics of us....him perched on a branch above me to ensure my safety while I happily bask in the glow of the sun on the branch below!
