Meet Job

In case you didn't know...

My sister-in-law and her husband are adopting a boy from Uganda. His name is Job. It's been in the works for some time now and they finally boarded a plane on Sunday night to go over there and get him! They are beyond excited to be adding to their family.

Little Job.
He is always happy and smiling in pictures:)

Yes, this would be Micah's sister, Dianna, the one with 3 kids of her own. And yes, some people think she's out of her mind crazy for wanting to adopt and add a 4th kid to the mix. To be honest sometimes I think she is too:) But really it all boils down to this: she just has a huge heart, loves children, and is being totally obedient to what the Lord is calling her to do. So when you look at it that way, it's pretty awesome.

Although they arrived safely in Uganda and have Job with them right now they aren't home free yet. They are waiting on their court date where their case will be presented so they can be awarded guardianship over Job. Then they will have to wait for him to get his Visa. So they have been told to expect to be in Africa AT LEAST 3 WEEKS.

Josh, Job, and Dianna

A couple things to pray for:

1) A court date to be scheduled soon
2) A kind-hearted judge that will grant them guardianship
3) paperwork to be processed quickly so they can come home
4) prayer for their 3 kids back home while they are away

Thanks Everybody! Happy Tuesday!

3 months and growing!

Hayes is 3 months old already! Where does the time go? He continues to do better and better each day. He is officially off breastmilk and on formula now. That has helped tremendously! For whatever reason his little tummy just didn't like my milk:( But he is happier and more comfortable taking the formula so as sad as it makes me to be done breastfeeding, I'm done. TMI? Oh well:) Happy Friday everyone!

he had just woken up so i guess that explains his perplexed look??

not sure...

There's that smile:)
